Terms of Use — LingoAula
LingoAula is a learning tool. We provide the app and materials. Your progress depends on your effort. Courses are for general language development and are not official certificates and not affiliated with exam boards or education ministries unless we clearly say otherwise.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the LingoAula mobile application and this website. Related pages: Disclaimer, Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using LingoAula, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age of digital consent in your region, use LingoAula only with parent/guardian involvement as required.
3. Accounts and login security
You are responsible for your login credentials and activity under your account. Notify us of unauthorized access. We will never ask for your password through public support forms.
4. Acceptable use
Use LingoAula only for lawful personal educational purposes and in a way that does not harm the service, other users, or our systems.
5. Prohibited misuse
You must not hack, reverse engineer beyond lawful rights, overload, scrape aggressively, inject malware, bypass paywalls or security, abuse ads, harass others, or violate law.
6. Intellectual property
LingoAula’s name, logos, UI, lesson structure, and original materials are owned by the publisher or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial learning only. No ownership is transferred to you.
7. Educational nature — your effort
LingoAula provides tools, lessons, vocabulary practice, and progress features to support general language development. We do not control how much you practice. Results vary. We do not guarantee fluency, exam passes, job outcomes, or timelines. Full details: Disclaimer.
8. No certificates / no official affiliation
Unless expressly stated in official materials, LingoAula content and completed courses:
- do not issue official academic certificates, degrees, or licenses;
- are not accredited university programs;
- are not affiliated with IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or any ministry/exam board;
- are not a substitute for formal schooling or professional advice.
9. User-submitted content
If you submit support messages or similar content, you grant a limited license to use it to operate support and the service. Do not submit unlawful or infringing content.
10. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Paid features may be sold via Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices appear in the store. The billing relationship for those purchases is primarily with Apple or Google. The developer typically does not receive full payment card numbers.
11. Renewal and cancellation
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew until you cancel in Apple or Google account settings under store rules. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge where the store allows.
12. Refunds
Refunds for store purchases are handled under Apple or Google policies. The developer cannot always reverse store-processed payments. Learning results alone do not create a right to a developer refund.
13. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, abuse, or security risks. You may stop using LingoAula and request deletion via /delete-account.
14. Availability and updates
We aim to keep the service available and improved, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change with updates. Store, network, and device factors may affect performance.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LingoAula is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, fitness for a particular exam/job goal, or specific learning outcomes. This does not exclude warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of data or profits; exam/career outcomes; or differences in learning results between users, arising from use of LingoAula. Aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid for LingoAula features in the three months before the claim, or (b) the minimum required by mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; the last updated date will change when we publish revisions. Continued use after changes means acceptance where permitted by law.
